Wild Virginia Study on GW Drinking Water Resources

Cedar Creek

Wild Virginia's study shows that 260,000 northern Shenandoah Valley residents get their drinking water from sources in the George Washington National Forest.

This report explains why the new Forest Plan for George Washington National Forest must include direct, explicit management of drinking watersheds and offers recommendations for protecting and enhancing drinking water resources.
