The Network operates as a resource center for local citizens groups. Our staff and experts across the state provide hands-on technical assistance to address key issues and build the capacity of county-level community groups.
We support efforts to provide for sustainable growth and development that protects traditional towns, rural land uses and natural, cultural and historic resources.
We promote economic development and managed growth that does not stress public infrastructure, increase the burden of property taxes on area residents, or destroy resources critical to quality of life and the agriculture, forestry and tourism sectors of the economy.
