State Eyes Major Poultry Litter-to-Energy Power Station

The Virginia Department of Environmental Quality and Department of Conservation & Recreation launched the Shenandoah Valley Poultry Litter to Energy Watershed & Air Advisory Group in February to evaluate plans for a large scale poultry litter to energy power station in the Shenandoah Valley as a means to meet Virginia’s Chesapeake Bay water quality requirements.
